About the Apartment Otto
Otto the Rich, eldest son of Conrad I of the House of Wettin, was Margrave of Meissen from 1156 to 1190 and founder of the city of Freiberg, which was once more important than Dresden due to its silver discoveries. It was not until centuries later that he was given the nickname ‘the Rich’ and still stands on the fountain monument on Freiberg's Obermarkt. He was also the first town in the Mark Meissen to be granted city rights and founded the Altzella monastery near Nossen.
The 75m2 flat is located in the centre of Meissen, just a 5-minute walk from the porcelain manufactory, very close to the vineyards with hiking trails and the historic old town, has a view of the city and can accommodate 2-5 people.
